| Description | This measure (Annex A, Para 1-2, 2-2 and 3-2) provides for the authorization requirement from the relevant government agency before the importing the products. The import of any specimen of a species included in Appendix I, II and III shall require the prior grant and presentation of an import permit and either export permit or re-export certificate. The objective is to ensure that international trade in specimens of wild animals and plants does not threaten the survival of the species in the wild. |
| Comments | Myanmar became as a member of Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora – CITES on 11 September, 1997. This measure may be changed according to the country’s condition. |
