In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 49(b) of the Foreign Exchange Management Law, the Central Bank of the Union of Myanmar issued the Notification No. 26/2023 on 6 December 2023. This notification provides the amendment to exchange procedure 35% of export earnings in to Myanmar kyats instead of 50% in accordance with the prescribed procedures provided in Notification No. (12/2022).
